Primeiro sistema fotovoltaico vertical da Irlanda
A Over Easy Solar instalou em Dublin o primeiro sistema fotovoltaico vertical da Irlanda, com 5,37 kW e 21 unidades bifaciais XM-3 QUATTRO-256S, sobre telhado verde da Sempergreen, em obra da contratada irlandesa Solar Precision.
A variável ausente é quem financia o investimento inicial. No Non-Domestic Microgen Grant da Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, aberto a empresas, escolas e entidades sem fins lucrativos na Irlanda, sistemas de 5 kWp a 6 kWp recebem 2.400 euros, e o pagamento só é processado depois da instalação concluída e da documentação enviada, em quatro a seis semanas.
O apoio público é reembolso, não aporte. O proprietário desembolsa o valor integral do telhado verde e do sistema vertical antes de receber qualquer parcela, e depende da aprovação prévia de conexão pela ESB Networks, cujo processo leva no mínimo quatro semanas.
O que decide a adoção do fotovoltaico vertical em telhado comercial é a origem do capital que cobre o intervalo entre a obra e o reembolso.

Over Easy Solar has installed Ireland's first vertical photovoltaic system in Dublin, 5.37 kW across 21 XM-3 QUATTRO-256S bifacial units, on a Sempergreen green roof, built by the Irish contractor Solar Precision.
The missing variable is who funds the upfront investment. Under the Non-Domestic Microgen Grant of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, open to businesses, schools and non-profit bodies in Ireland, systems of 5 kWp to 6 kWp receive 2,400 euros, and payment is only processed after the installation is complete and the documentation submitted, within four to six weeks.
Public support here is reimbursement, not equity. The owner pays the full cost of the green roof and the vertical system before receiving any instalment, and depends on prior grid connection approval from ESB Networks, a process that takes at least four weeks.
What decides adoption of vertical photovoltaics on commercial roofs is the source of capital covering the gap between the works and the reimbursement.
